Singapore's largest telecommunications company Singtel may not yet be synonymous with mobile wallet services, but it has set its sights on becoming a leader in the growing but fragmented e-payment market.

Yesterday, Singtel launched a cross-border digital payment network that allows anyone with its electronic wallet, Singtel Dash, to pay for items outside of Singapore.
