SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Wednesday (May 25), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,786.09 in early trade, up 1.3 per cent, or 35.86 points.
Around 30.2 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 101 to 22.
