SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,758.63 in early trade, down 1.19 per cent, or 33.29 points.
Around 61.6 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 135 to 18.
