SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Monday (Oct 9), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,291.29 in early trade, up 0.9 per cent, or 29.45 points.
About 93.1 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 91 to 46.
