SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Wednesday (Jan 13), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,712.7 in early trade, up 0.77 per cent, or 20.92 points.
Around 47.5 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 90 to 24.
