SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Wednesday (Dec 16), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,834.47 in early trade, up 0.67 per cent, or 18.95 points.
Around 106.9 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 112 to 33.
