SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Tuesday (Dec 8), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,882.64 in early trade, down 0.63 per cent, or 18.28 points.
Around 77.3 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 105 to 51.
