SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Thursday (March 31), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,855.11 in early trade, down 0.62 per cent, or 17.67 points.
Around 143.9 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 74 to 73.
