SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Friday (March 18), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,895.81 in early trade, up 0.54 per cent, or 15.64 points.
Around 69.2 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 105 to 39.
