Singapore shares open 0.52% higher on Thursday

SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Thursday (April 28), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,889.63 in early trade, up 0.52 per cent, or 14.91 points.

Around 27.3 million shares exchanged hands.

Gainers beat losers 105 to 33.
