SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened 0.51% lower on Tuesday (Sept 27), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,835.36 in early trade, down 0.51 per cent, or 14.58 points.
Around 31.9 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 72 to 33.
