Singapore shares open 0.45% lower on Monday

SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Monday (Oct 31), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,816.26 in early trade, down 0.45 per cent, or 12.68 points.

Around 96.2 million shares exchanged hands.

Gainers beat losers 76 to 51.
