SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Tuesday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,299 in early trade, down 0.43 per cent, or 14.41 points.
Around 161.5 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 109 to 66.
