SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened 0.39% higher on Monday (Oct 3 ), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,880.57 in early trade, up 0.39 per cent, or 11.1 points.
Around 48 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 92 to 29.
