SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Thursday (Sept 28), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,247.45 in early trade, up 0.35 per cent, or 11.3 points.

About 190.9 million shares exchanged hands.

Gainers beat losers 125-61.
