SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Wednesday (April 6), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,791.31 in early trade, down 0.34 per cent, or 9.61 points.
Around 76.2 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 57 to 56.
