SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Thursday (Dec 8), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,969.57 in early trade, up 0.33 per cent, or 9.73 points.
Around 74.3 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 95 to 38.
