Singapore shares open 0.30% higher on Wednesday

SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Wednesday (Sept 2), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,891.54 in early trade, up 0.30 per cent, or 8.77 points.

Around 69.1 million shares exchanged hands.

Losers beat gainers 101 to 51.
