SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Friday (July 22), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,931.92 in early trade, down 0.29 per cent, or 8.56 points.
Around 49.3 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 37 to 71.
