SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Friday (Oct 20), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,343.69 in early trade, up 0.26 per cent, or 8.78 points.
About 68.9 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 85 to 34.
