Singapore shares open 0.23% higher on Thursday

SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Thursday (Feb 23), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,129.43 in early trade, up 0.23 per cent, or 7.23 points.

Around 394.1 million shares exchanged hands.

Gainers beat losers 147 to 84.
