SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Wednesday (Oct 4), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,239.85 in early trade, down 0.19 per cent, or 6.23 points.
About 116.1 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 81 to 57.
