SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Monday (Oct 19), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,025.35 in early trade, down 0.17 per cent, or 5.26 points.
Around 56.9 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 87 to 44.
