SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Thursday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,066.49 in early trade, up 0.16 per cent, or 5 points.
Around 56.3 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 80 to 63.
