SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Thursday (Aug 25) , with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,873.38 in early trade, up 0.13 per cent, or 3.81 points.
Around 28.7 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 69 to 44.
