Singapore shares open 0.12% higher on Friday

SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Friday (June 9), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,240.79 in early trade, up 0.12 per cent, or 3.74 points.

Around 35.1 million shares exchanged hands.

Gainers beat losers 73 to 42.
