SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Friday (Sept 18), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,893.61 in early trade, down 0.08 per cent, or 2.20 points.
Around 53.2 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 67 to 54.
