Singapore shares open 0.05% higher on Tuesday

SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Tuesday (March 14), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,148.84 in early trade, up 0.05 per cent, or 1.69 points.

Around 59.7 million shares exchanged hands.

Gainers beat losers 80 to 48.
