SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Tuesday (April 4), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 3,186.13 in early trade, down 0.04 per cent, or 1.38 points.
Around 74.9 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 81 to 54.
