Singapore shares open 0.07% lower on Friday

SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened 0.07% lower on Friday (Oct 21), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,840.68 in early trade, down 0.07 per cent, or 1.94 points.

Around 71.4 million shares exchanged hands.

Gainers beat losers 76 to 62.
