SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened 0.60% lower on Friday (Sept 9), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,877.01 in early trade, down 0.60 per cent, or 17.47 points.
Around 53.4 million shares exchanged hands.
Losers beat gainers 65 to 54.
