SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened lower on Tuesday (July 19), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,927.94 in early trade, down 0.02 per cent, or 0.82 points.
Around 98.7 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 77 to 58.
