SINGAPORE - Singapore shares opened higher on Thursday (Sept 3), with the benchmark Straits Times Index at 2,878.77 in early trade, up 0.02 per cent, or 0.64 points.
Around 53.8 million shares exchanged hands.
Gainers beat losers 104 to 47.
