SINGAPORE-LISTED YuuZoo Corporation says the launch of its first online game has met with strong early success.

Just a week after its launch, the game, called Honey Snatch, has been installed by 5,000 players, the company said.

The game was developed with Thailand-based Sandbox, YuuZoo said in a Singapore Exchange announcement today.

It said the gaming industry had huge potential with global revenue for mobile games projected to reach US$23.9 billion by 2016.

The game involves virtual bees trying to get as much honey as possible.
