SINGAPORE - Energy giant Shell is delaying a decision to shut down operations of a base oil plant at its refining and chemicals complex at Singapore's Pulau Bukom, amid supply concerns, the company said on Wednesday (July 27).
According to industry sources, the plant has the capacity to produce up to 380,000 tonnes of base oil annually. It was originally slated to be shut down permanently this month.
