Rotary Engineering secures two projects worth over US$120m

SINGAPORE - Mainboard-listed Rotary Engineering and its subsidiaries has secured two projects worth more than US$120 million (S$168.7 million) in Dubai and Thailand to supply engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) and maintenance services for tank storage projects.

The two EPC of tank storage projects are for the oil refineries of the Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) and Thai Oil Public Company. The tanks are an expansion of both refineries' existing refining capacity.

The ENOC contract is part of its US$1 billion refinery expansion project. In addition to the higher technical complexity involved in the construction of refinery tankage, excellent project expertise is required to avoid disrupting ongoing operations. The project will play a key role in meeting the UAE's growing domestic demand for energy, as well as in expanding its range of oil products for export, said Rotary in a media release on Tuesday (April 11).

The Thailand project is among Rotary's several projects in the country's oil and gas hubs. The company has a workshop in Map Tha Put, Rayong province, for prefabrication and preassembly of topsides, tankage, pressure vessels, heat exchangers and other structures supporting the operations of oil and gas companies in the region.
