Q&M to buy two dental clinics in Singapore and one in Malaysia

SINGAPORE - Mainboard-listed Q & M Dental Group announced plans on Thursday (June 15) to expand its main business in Singapore and Malaysia.

In a filing with the Singapore Exchange, Q & M said it proposed to acquire Horizon Dental Surgery at 151 Chin Swee Road and Starbite Dental Centre at Hougang Street 21 for S$350,000 and S$200,000, respectively.

In a separate filing on Thursday, Q & M said it also plans to buy CS Tan Dental Surgery in Kuala Lumpur for about RM300,000 (S$96,774).

The company has also incorporated a subsidiary in Singapore, Q & M Dental Holdings (Malaysia), to act as a holding company for its businesses in Malaysia.

The dental group added that in Singapore, two new dental clinics - at Yew Tee Point and Punggol NEL MRT Station - have commenced operations.
