Tony Cheong Jin Keat: Resigning as chief financial officer with effect from May 13. Mr Cheong, 51, is stepping down to join a multinational corporation.


Sheng Siong Group

Tan Ling San: Ceased to be executive director last Wednesday. Mr Tan, 77, did not seek re-election at the annual general meeting.

He will continue to be employed by the company as a senior board adviser, providing guidance on the administration and implementation of the group's policies and strategies, and helping evaluate new growth areas.


Boustead Singapore

Wong Yu Loon: Appointed deputy group chief executive yesterday.

Mr Wong, 41, will assist the group chief executive, who is his father, in overseeing the day-to-day management, operations, business development and strategic planning of the group.


Super Group

Lee Chee Tak: Retired as a director last Thursday. Mr Lee, 51, did not stand for re-election at the annual general meeting. The firm said this was an effort to reduce the board size, to meet a 2012 Code of Corporate Governance guideline.


Soup Restaurant Group

Mok Yip Peng: Retired yesterday as managing director.

Mr Mok, 61, is the group's founder and has been at the helm for 25 years. He has been succeeded by Mr Wong Wei Teck, 59, who will be responsible for overall management and strategic planning and overseeing operations.

Mr Mok remains the group's largest shareholder with a 23.33 per cent stake.
