There have been major changes at the firm recently.

Quek Chek Lan, 71, was appointed chief executive on Oct 16.

Ho Pong Chong, 62, resigned as independent director on Oct 13 to facilitate board renewal. He was also chairman of the audit committee.

An extraordinary general meeting on Oct 12 led to the removal of managing director Lee Boon Teck, 48, and independent directors Low Hai Lee, 58, and Teo Hin Guan, 65.

Mr Teo was also chairman of the remuneration committee.

Health Management International

Chin Wei Yao: Appointed executive director last Friday.

Mr Chin, 33, is the director of finance and corporate development, responsible for supervising the group's overall financial reporting matters.

He works with other executive directors on the overall development of the group's hospital and other businesses here and in the region.

He is the son of Dr Chin Koy Nam, a major shareholder of the firm, and Dr Gan See Khem, its managing director.

Mr Chin is also the brother of Ms Chin Wei Jia, the group chief executive officer.
