THE managing director of DP Information Group will retire at the end of the month.
Ms Chen Yew Nah, 54, who has been in the post at the credit bureau for 18 years, will be succeeded by Mr Lincoln Teo.
Mr Teo, 46, was appointed the chief operating officer (COO) on April 1. As COO, he takes on the same duties as the managing director.
He will lead a new leadership team to "steer the company through the next stage of its growth", said the group in a statement yesterday.
An economist by training and a risk management specialist for most of his career, Mr Teo was previously general manager of the group, which he joined in 2010.
He has held senior executive positions in financial institutions such as Standard Chartered Bank and United Overseas Bank.
Mr Teo said in a statement that Ms Chen had been the driving force behind the group's growth and expansion.
"Under Yew Nah's leadership, DP Info has become a data and information powerhouse in Singapore," he said. "Thousands of companies in Singapore use DP Info's data every day to drive critical business decisions."
