1 Gold was little changed in London as the United States Federal Reserve wrapped up a policy meeting. The precious metal has climbed 24 per cent this year, Bloomberg said.

2 Oil prices slid to fresh three-month lows over global oversupply concerns and as the US summer driving season ends. Brent crude fell 51 US cents to US$44.36 a barrel, said Agence France-Presse.
