1 The Metro Group, hit by an SGX trading query, said its strategy is to explore opportunities to maximise shareholder value for its two key businesses, property and retail. No firm decision has been made yet on any material development.

2 Longcheer said it has been approached by interested persons in connection with the potential acquisition of an associated company within the group. Discussions are preliminary.

3 IHH Healthcare said its unit Acibadem is buying the Bulgaria-based Tokuda Hospital and its subsidiaries for €65 million (S$99 million) and is also merging with City Clinic, a leading healthcare operator in Bulgaria.

4 The Fragance Group said its executive chairman and CEO Koh Wee Meng has bought two apartments at its NV Apartments project at 380 Murray Street, Perth. No discount was given.

5 SGX-listed Wee Hur's unit has been awarded an $82.2 million contract to design and construct a single-user, five-storey warehouse with an industrial canteen at 76, Pioneer Road.
