1 High expectations that the United States will raise interest rates in December dominated world markets, lifting the greenback. Gold was near its lowest in three months at US$1,091.96, Reuters reported.

2 RH Petrogas is tipped to record a significant loss for the third quarter and the full year to Dec 31 due to goodwill write-off, impairment loss on exploration and evaluation assets as well as energy properties.

3 Auric Pacific expects to report a significant loss for the third quarter due partly to the impairment of non-financial assets.

4 Second Chance Properties said independent director Choo Chee Kong resigned on his own accord. Mr Choo was recently rapped over breaches of listing rules at Advance SCT, where he was a non-executive director.

5 SHS subsidiary TAT Petroleum is starting an expansion project to double its asphalt filling and drumming capacity at an estimated capital expenditure of $1.1 million.
