1 The US Federal Reserve's chair Janet Yellen indicated in comments that the US central bank remains on track to raise interest rates this year.

US treasury yields rose after her comments.

2 While rates may rise soon, Singapore dollar bonds continue to be in demand. The latest is Religare Health Trust, which sold $60 million three-year bonds at 4.5 per cent.

Earlier this week, Nam Cheong had issued $75 million three-year notes at 6.5 per cent, while Roxy-Pacific's $60 million three-year issue was priced at 4.5 per cent.

3 Singapore Airlines reported weaker passenger business in June. The carrier flew 1.58 million passengers last month, down 0.9 per cent compared with a year ago, while its load factor - which indicates revenue efficiency per seat capacity - slid to 79.9 per cent from 81.5 per cent a year ago.

4 Higher variable rents from its Singapore data centres and other income helped Keppel DC Reit notch up a distribution per unit (DPU) of 1.62 Singapore cents, 1.9 per cent above the forecast amount.

Distributable income was $14.27 million for the three months to June 30.

5 ISDN Holdings will be going ahead to develop a 20 megawatt Rawa River hydropower facility in Central Sulawesi, Indonesia.

The Rawa River hydropower facility will serve both residents and industries in the Sigi District, which has an estimated population of 231,000.
