US markets rebounded last week but it could be a 'dead cat bounce'

Just as everyone was predicting a market capitulation, stocks rebounded last week.
The Dow Jones index rose 5.4 per cent for the week to 31,500 points, while the broader S&P index surged 6.5 per cent to 3,911.74. The Nasdaq had its best week this year as it spiked 7.5 per cent to 11.607.62.
