Market highlights

1 Britain's pound is no longer the worst-performing Group-of-10 currency of this year as polls flag a receding Brexit risk. It did better than the Australian and NZ dollars amid upbeat retail data, reported Bloomberg.

2 Property developer Oxley's second retail bond offering listed yesterday. The bonds offer a coupon rate of 5.15 per cent a year. Chief executive Ching Chiat Kwong said it was looking at global opportunities for next-level growth.

3 The maker of bottles and shrink film Full Apex will be consolidating every 20 existing shares into one consolidated share. The books will be closed on May 27 to determine the entitlements of shareholders.

4 KSH Holdings' unit Kim Seng Heng Engineering Construction has got a contract from the National University of Singapore for addition and alteration works there for two years from this month.

5 Sembcorp Marine has bought back 152,700 of its own shares at $1.599 apiece. The total consideration was $244,461.
