Market highlights

1 Crude oil prices will probably stay low for longer than expected, International Monetary Fund managing director Christine Lagarde said, urging Gulf oil producers to cut spending, Bloomberg reported.

2 Investment holding firm San Teh expects to report a loss for the financial year ended Dec 31, mainly due to impairment loss on financial assets. It is also in the hotel and PVC pipes and fittings business in China.

3 Enviro-Hub, which recycles and manages electronic waste, expects to incur a net loss for for the fourth quarter and year ended Dec 31.

4 Full Apex, which makes plastic bottles, says it will likely make an impairment provision after its closure of two bottling plants late last year and a drop in sales. The provision will result in a full-year loss.

5 Ezion is in a joint venture with a Chinese state-owned firm to use service rigs to support the offshore wind-farm market. Ezion will handle commercial and other aspects of the chartered rigs.
