Market highlights

1 Maxi-Cash Financial Services has issued $20 million of notes due 2020 with a coupon rate of 5.5 per cent. In April, it issued $50 million of notes due 2020 with the same rate. These will be combined to form one series.

2 Global Logistic Properties said the Singapore Exchange has approved its delisting. The scheme document will be dispatched by Dec 1. If the scheme is effective, GLP will be delisted on April 14 next year.

3 Total securities market turnover value hit $21.8 billion in September, down 16 per cent on August but up 5 per cent year on year. Daily average value was $1.1 billion, up 11 per cent year on year.

4 There was one mainboard listing, raising $58.2 million, in September and 164 new bond listings, raising $67.4 billion. Market capitalisation of the 754 listed firms was $1 trillion.

5 Chinese developer Yanlord Land bought back 194,800 shares at $1.91 each for a total outlay of $372,944.
