Market highlights

1 mm2 Asia is in talks to buy Village Roadshow's stake in Dartina Development, a firm incorporated in Hong Kong which owns the Golden Village Cinema business here. The talks are at a preliminary stage.

2 Koh Brothers Group has made its maiden entry into the South Korean real estate market by jointly acquiring a freehold site in the heart of the Gangnam district in Seoul for 95.8 billion Korean won (S$119 million).

3 The inaugural rupee-currency or Masala bond has been listed on the Singapore Exchange. The National Highways Authority of India raised 30 billion rupees (S$645 million) in the largest such issue - five years with a 7.3 per cent coupon.

4 HL Global Enterprises has listed its 60 per cent stake in Copthorne Hotel Qingdao for sale on the Shanghai United Assets and Equity Exchange. The hotel has been loss-making since it started in 1997.

5 Cosco (Dalian) Shipyard, a subsidiary of Cosco Shipyard Group, has delivered a bulk carrier to a European buyer.
