Market highlights

1 An offer for the shares of Kingboard Copper Foil has been extended to 5.30pm on May 1. The firm said this is the final closing date and that any acceptance received after the deadline will be rejected.

2 Mainboard-listed Rotary Engineering has secured two projects worth more than US$120 million (S$168 million) in Dubai and Thailand. These are tank storage projects for the Emirates National Oil Company and Thai Oil Public Company.

3 Lian Beng's subsidiary, Goldprime (M), has sold its entire 49 per cent stake in Grand Millennium Development to VT Property for RM4,900 (S$1,552). This means Grand Millennium is no longer an associate of the firm.

4 Foreland Fabrictech is asking SGX for an extension of time to hold its AGM. The audit for 2016 has not been performed as it has not paid the audit fee for the previous financial year. Foreland is trying to place out shares to raise $600,000.

5 Property player Oxley's 50 per cent-owned joint venture company has agreed to acquire the entire issued share capital of Flitous Properties and Jemina Properties from Bank of Cyprus Public Company for €28 million (S$42 million).
